Use the following Participant Quality Control Checklist to prep for the webinar before it begins:

  1. Check your background: Ensure that your backgrounds (white board, office, classroom) is presentable prior to broadcasting.
  2. Audio / Video Check: All Participants should check their microphone and video settings to make sure it works. Communications team will verify. (For more information, see this support article)
  3. Know how to share your screen: All participants who will be presenting items on their screen should know how to share their screen by clicking the Screen Share button.
  4. Set up your lower third: All participants should have a Lower Third set up so that viewers know who is talking / presenting. (Video)

    Click on the Google Hangout Toolbox and Create/Edit the Lower Third

  5. Know how to setup internal chat: Information not displayed to viewers can be shared using the chat button.
