Purpose: The purpose of the Intent to Re-Enroll (ItR) Process is to determine how many students will return for the following year. Why? In order to know exactly how many seats we can open to the general public lottery, we will need to know the number of students who will be returning next year. For example, if ICS has a capacity of 480 students for next year, and 320 students respond to ItR by saying they will be returning, there will be 160 seats available for New Students in the Enrollment Process

Outcome: By the end of the ItR process, around February, we expect to have a fairly reliable count of students returning. This will allow our home office to complete the calculations for seats for new students.

Process:

Step 1: Intent to Return forms are distributed to Parents.
Step 2: Parents Respond to ItR forms within 3 weeks of distribution; office staff and enrollment team indicate their decisions in Schoolmint
Step 3: At the end of ItR (around 1st week of February), Enrollment team calls Non-Responders
Step 4: The Home Office completes calculations of open seats in preparation for School Lotteries.

Evaluation: 100% of all families targeted in ItR have responded either on their own initiative or via the efforts of Enrollment team.
