Typically students added to PowerSchool prior to 5PM will have their emails created over night and ready for use the following day. These email addresses are then sync'd with PowerSchool on a weekly basis.

So, if you don't happen to see your new student's email address in PowerTeacher today and know that the student was enrolled into Powerschool at least 24 hours ago, you can be assured that the student account has been created and is functional, however PowerSchool isn't updated yet. (Updating PowerSchool with the new email address is, sadly, a manual process that the KM team does every two weeks during the school year -- daily during the beginning of the year.)

Here's how you can guess the email address (and 9 times out of 10, you'll be correct):

Student emails follow the convention: [first initial][last initial][student_number]@ingeniumstudent.org

For example, if your student's name is John Doe and his student number is 12345, his email would be jd12345@ingeniumstudent.org.
